What does the Bible say about getting along with family?

Benjamin Franklin is known for famously saying, “….but in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes” and we could safely add to his quote, conflict.

Chances are you are either going through, or coming out of, conflict with a family member. While conflict is never fun, it can be a great opportunity for everyone involved to grow in their understanding of grace and truth. Left Behind

In the spring of 2010, Dorothy “Boots” Lee and Peggy Ladd saw life as they knew it turned upside down overnight.

Boots: I lost my husband Jim in February. So I just left behind everything I knew in Tennessee to move closer to family in Dallas. Those were some awfully lonely days. My life felt like a blank slate. I had to learn how to live alone for the first time ever.

GLOW: A Day of Beauty at Watermark was much more than a day of pampering for women served by our partner ministries throughout the city. It was a day for volunteers at Watermark to help further ongoing relationships we have with women at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Union Gospel Mission’s Center of Hope, Exodus, and other ministries for women in need.

These images take me back almost 10 years ago when I was a new college graduate working in New York. My first job was as a stockbroker working in the World Trade Center,” said Nathan Harness.
