We are pleased to announce our new school partnership with CF Carr Elementary. Please visit the blog for more details as they become available over the next few weeks.
DISD has decided to merge Sequoyah Elementary School with Carver Elementary and since Park Cities Presbyterian Church is partnering with Carver we have decided to join forces with another West Dallas Elementary School, CF Carr. CF Carr is located at 1952 Bayside about a mile from Sequoyah. The school includes children PreK through 5th grade and current student enrollment is 450 and the staff totals 50. We are also hoping to include a West Dallas Church as part of our partnership but more details will be following. We will focus our efforts on providing reading buddies, Saturday School volunteers, classroom/teacher support, library support and a new opportunity to advocate for equality in our school system.
