GLOW – A Day of Beauty Update!
GLOW was a great success. It was such a blessing to see 70 women from the Nexus Recovery Center literally “transformed” throughout the day! One of the greatest statements that floated around was that these women were being given an “outward” makeover that reflected their “inner” makeover as they recovered from difficult life situtations. About 75 hair care/makeup artists also volunteered their day, as did many Watermark professionals, such as dentists, fashion consultants, self-defense experts, massage therapists, and many more. About 100 Watermark volunteers also assisted in the set up, take down, and tracking with the ladies as they went from hair, to makeup, and on to professional photo sessions. Breakfast and lunch was provided by Blue Mesa Grill and Brinker. Cary Pierce’s worship set was also incredible.
